Website terms

Information first.
Responsibility by contract.

These terms govern use of this website. Project responsibility begins only through an agreed written scope.

Website operator

This website is operated by UI Industry. Questions about the website or a proposed engagement may be sent to office@uiindustry.com.

Preliminary information

Website content, indicative fees, diagnostic questions, AI-assisted summaries and initial responses are provided to help structure a possible requirement. They are not a final technical specification, conformity assessment, engineering approval, safety decision, customs ruling, legal opinion or commitment to deliver.

Project contracts

Each engagement is governed by the written proposal, purchase order or contract accepted by the parties. That document identifies the contracting counterpart and defines scope, deliverables, responsibility split, assumptions, exclusions, acceptance criteria, price and schedule. Where website content and an executed project contract differ, the executed contract controls.

Third-party products and specialists

UI may coordinate qualified manufacturers, engineering companies, inspectors, logistics providers and independent specialists. The party responsible for each specialist activity is identified in the applicable proposal or contract. Reference to a company, product or standard does not by itself imply endorsement, exclusivity or a current commercial relationship.

Indicative prices and availability

Published fee ranges are orientation only and normally exclude VAT, equipment, freight, duties, insurance, inspections, laboratory work, travel, site labour and third-party costs unless expressly stated. Final pricing and availability depend on the reviewed requirement and contractual role.

AI-assisted output

An AI feature may help extract facts, identify missing information and prepare a preliminary problem statement. It must not be used as the sole basis for an operational, safety, compliance, investment or procurement decision. A human review and a contract-defined professional deliverable are required where UI assumes responsibility. Private evidence files are not submitted to the website AI features.

User responsibilities and evidence upload

You must provide information you are authorised to disclose, avoid malicious or unlawful use, and verify that submitted technical information is current and complete. The private evidence route becomes available only after a case reference is created and applies its stated file, size and retention limits. Do not upload export-controlled, classified, credential, malware, safety-sensitive data requiring a separate route, or third-party material you are not authorised to disclose.

Intellectual property

UI Industry branding, original website content, service architecture and diagnostic materials may not be reproduced commercially without permission. Rights in client documents, manufacturer materials and third-party marks remain with their respective owners.
